I really enjoy working on group projects where I team up with students from all over the world.

"Before studying at Avans I worked as a volunteer in a botanic garden in Argentina, my home country. I became more and more interested in the well-being of the environment and the developing of new technologies. I therefore decided to start looking for bachelor's degrees abroad."

Many projects

"I started my application as soon as I read the ESSET programme structure. I took this decision rapidly because this programme includes all the things I have always wanted to learn, such as ecology, sustainable energy, environmental technology, etcetera. On top of that, the first thing that caught my attention was the large number of projects this programme offers. This approach provides the student with a more realistic training of what it will be like in their future job."

"I really enjoy working on group projects where I team up with students from all over the world, and the cultural differences blend in creating great executions. Apart from the theory and extensive practice this programme offers, it also covers every aspect of a qualified professional: from workshops for improving critical thinking to courses to polish-up your presentation skills."

Personal approach

"A remarkable aspect of this university is their personal approach. Throughout your programme you will have a personal and professional development coach. They are there to help you with any issues you may have and guide you through all the subjects you could encounter trouble with. Lecturers and tutors, apart from being passionate about the subject they teach, also offer a lot of support in case you are not keeping up with the class, providing you with helpdesks and work sessions."

Motivation

"After almost a year studying at ESSET, what I like the most is how dynamic this programme is. Each quarter you have new subjects, new projects and a new project group of about 8 people. This helps you to stay motivated while keeping your interest high and at the same time you are getting to know everyone in the programme."
