In the recently published 2024 Keuzegids guide to higher professional education, Avans University of Applied Sciences has once again come in first place among the country’s major universities of applied sciences.

Come to Coming Out Day on Wednesday, October 11th at Onderwijsboulevard 3 in Den Bosch and help build the flag for connection: a flag measuring 6x9 metres, which will be made from all kinds of recycled materials.

During the week of October 23, EenVandaag broadcasted three reports on the study programme for Indonesian nurses at Avans+. This programme is a collaboration between Avans+ and the Yomema organisation. The goal of this collaboration is twofold: to boost the further development of Indonesian healthcare, and to provide a solution to the continuous demand for healthcare professionals in the Netherlands. The programme appeared to be one of many promising initiatives to contribute to this.

In general, students are satisfied or very satisfied with the teaching at Avans University of Applied Sciences. The inclusivity, the atmosphere of the student’s study programme and the expertise of the instructors remain significant assets. This emerges from the results of the National Student Survey 2023 (NSS). On virtually all topics Avans has a better rating than comparable universities of applied sciences.
