Last week was a momentous occasion for thousands of Avans students. Together with their families, they celebrated obtaining their diplomas at the Avans Diploma Festivals at Maaspoorthallen ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Breepark Breda.

Avans students Lisa Heyman and Nick den Bol had a dream: to plant a tree for every new Avans graduate. Thanks to their dream we are now planting an actual forest. 4,000 trees have already been planted and this week another 5,500 trees will be added in honour of the students receiving their diplomas.

At Avans, we strive to treat everyone equally and with full respect. Statistics reveal that students and staff members see our institution as a safe and inclusive environment, a place where you can be yourself.
