Student counsellor

Within the university the student counsellor guides students in respect of their choice of study programme or other important study-related matters.

Help in many ways

In addition, the counsellor can help you in many other ways, for example: in the event of problems with the examination or education committee, or if you have dyslexia etc.

Students are free to make an appointment with a counsellor to discuss their study or important study-related subjects. An appointment with a student counsellor can be made at each campus via Student Support.

Confidential counsellor

Desirable conduct - that is our concern! Has someone e-mailed you inappropriate images? A slightly too frequent supportive arm around your shoulder? Discriminating remarks? Sometimes you do not know whether to report it, but you know you want to talk about it. In that case, we offer confidential counsellors. They will listen and help you to find a solution. The confidential counsellors’ basic principle is: "It is not right, if it does not feel right". So you are always taken seriously.

We have a complaint procedure for undesirable behaviour. It describes how to deal with these types of situations. If you want to take action, the confidential counsellors will support you. The student counsellor is also your confidential counsellor. An appointment with a student counsellor can be made at each campus via Student Support.
