Development for visual storytelling

What is expected of you?

  • You should have the basic visual storytelling knowledge and skills - telling a story in images.
  • You should have a demonstrable interest and basic skills in making still and animated images. This could also be a specific aspect, such as sound design, editing or graphic design. You should also have the passion and the drive to apply your interest and skills in these forms of expression.
  • You would like to learn more about developing concepts for visual storytelling.
  • You should have an active attitude and be open to working with others.

What is the admissions procedure?

To join this programme, you must take an admissions test. This consists of:

  • a portfolio, with three images or alternative media
  • a brief motivation letter (max. one A4)

The portfolio should show your qualities as a visual storyteller. You should state in your motivation letter why this minor is right for you. What are your expectations and learning questions? What talents and skills do you possess?

Your portfolio and motivation letter will be assessed by lecturers on the programme.
