Virtual environment

At a time when travel is more difficult, Avans is reaching prospective international students through new virtual mediums. Students will be able to live text chat and video call with staff and students in a 3D virtual environment, as well as watch on-demand webinars and learn more about study abroad opportunities.

On November 12th, Avans will be exhibiting at the first ever Global Study Abroad Fair hosted by educations.com. Students from around the world will have the opportunity to meet a select 35 universities representing 15 different study abroad destination countries. Students can register for the event free of charge.

Experience

With an expected 10,000 registrations, “our goal for the event is to give students around the world the experience and information that they could have gotten from a face-to-face fair - but from the comfort and safety of their own home”, says Abby Guthrie, communications manager for educations.com.

This creates a perfect opportunity for Avans to engage with prospective students around the world. Staff and students will be attending this event to have one-on-one talks with interested students. The aim is provide a unique insight in what Avans has to offer and stimulate students to explore the study programmes further.
