Biobased Technology and Business Development

The core of the Biobased Technology and Business Development programme is a multidisciplinary group project, which involves working for a company that wants to become more sustainable or further develop and implement a biobased technology.

Drawing up a business plan

As a group, you will be asked to draw up a business plan for your client addressing the technical, financial and marketing aspects of your assignment. Your group will consist of 4 to 5 students with a variety of backgrounds: technical disciplines, environmental science, economics and marketing.

Resources

A range of resources is available to help you develop and prepare an excellent business plan and advice for your client:

  • Your group will have weekly meetings with a lecturer who will act as your group tutor.
  • You will have the opportunity to confer with technical, financial and marketing specialists.
  • You will attend several skills workshops.
  • You will take a number of courses and training sessions, depending on your educational background.

This exchange programme is a collaboration between the School of Life Sciences and Technology (ALST), the School of Business and Entrepreneurship (ABE) and the School of Management and Finance (AMF). Located in Breda and Den Bosch.
